Drawing more than 200 residents, the Changi Simei Furr Kids Day offered a breath of fresh air for pet lovers across East Coast. Held in the spirit of Father’s Day, the evening celebrated the extraordinary bond between our residents and their beloved animal companions.

Organised by the Changi Simei Community Volunteers and spearheaded by Clarisse Beh and Clancy Ng, the gathering was more than just a festival—it was a heartfelt reminder of the joy and responsibility pets bring into our lives. Conversations flowed easily among neighbors, fostering new friendships and a profound sense of neighbourliness. As one resident beautifully noted on social media, these shared moments provided invaluable insights and a deep appreciation for the companionship our furry friends provide.

The event was graced by Grassroots Adviser Ms Jessica Tan, who warmly engaged with residents and their pets during the Best Family Dress and Paw Printing segments. She expressed her gratitude to the participants, noting that such an enthusiastic turnout is a true testament to the power of community-led initiatives. Ms Tan also took the opportunity to encourage residents to take an active role in shaping the constituency’s future through local volunteering.
