A Heartfelt Send-off for East Coast Residents Embarking on the Haj Pilgrimage
2 May 2026
East Coast Advisers and Grassroots Leaders provide pilgrims with peace of mind, taking care of their loved ones at home, while they focus on their spiritual obligations.
On Saturday, 2 May 2026, the Al-Ansar Mosque was filled with a profound sense of peace and community spirit. Neighbors and families gathered for a Hajj Send-off ceremony to honor our residents as they prepare to embark on their sacred pilgrimage.
The Haj is a milestone of a lifetime, and this event was a way of ensuring our pilgrims do not depart alone, but with the collective prayers and well-wishes of the entire East Coast family. Beyond the formal recognition, the morning provided a space for fellow pilgrims to connect, share their excitement, and begin building bonds that will only strengthen during their shared spiritual journey.

Departing for the Haj can come with a mix of emotions—especially with current uncertainties in the Middle East. To address this, our Advisers and Grassroots Leaders provided our pilgrims with a peace of mind, reassuring them that their loved ones at will be well taken care of while they focus on their spiritual obligations.
This commitment to the well-being of families ensures that pilgrims can embark on their journey with a focused heart, knowing their community is standing guard.
