Under the Caring pillar of the East Coast Plan, Kampong Chai Chee continues to help alleviate the cost of living, providing accessible and affordable eye care to our residents.

Kampong Chai Chee continues to strive to alleviate financial strain faced by households. We have taken proactive measures to support our Kampong Chai Chee residents particularly those holding Blue CHAS Card.

This initiative, facilitated by KCC’s Adviser, Mr Tan Kiat How, was initiated by grassroots leaders and neighbourhood merchants. It aims to provide special discounts to Kampong Chai Chee (KCC) residents and broaden the set of current cost-of-living assistance measures for KCC residents.

Developed by the Women’s Executive Committee (WEC), the program aims to (a) empower parents and grandparents with essential caregiving skills, (b) establish the Kampong Chai Chee Parenthood Network for enhanced peer support, and (c) provide additional financial assistance for lower-income families.
